Help the Arkansas Arts Council discover the next Arkansas Living Treasure by nominating a traditional folk artist or craftsperson you know!
The Arkansas Arts Council is looking for master craftspeople and traditional folk artists who cherish Arkansas’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. Folk or traditional crafts include, but are not limited to, traditional songwriting, folk dancing, bladesmithing, weaving and quilting. Previous Arkansas Living Treasures have included sculpture work, metalwork, pottery and traditional woodwork, such as building rocking chairs, musical instruments and log cabins. Arkansas Living Treasure awardees have lifelong experiences in developing their crafts and are dedicated to inspiring others.
